This is definitely one of my top (Japanese) places to eat, but… just like any other fine dining places.. they can be quite expensive.

I heard good reviews about this place, so I decided that I just have to check this place out. And I ended up visiting this place twice now (my 2nd review will be in different article).

All the dishes that I ordered were perfecto! Although (IMHO) the black sesame ice cream was a bit bland. More sesame taste on that ice cream will make the whole experience beyond perfect!

So what did I order? (pictures from top left -> bottom right):

Maki roll: Ora king salmon tataki, karashi miso, lime soy (same maki).

Maki roll: Soft shell crab, daikon cucumber, chive, yuzu koshou mayonnaise (age water gani).

Cedar roasted marou chocolate and hazelnut pudding.

Fresh water eel (unagi).

Eggplant, ginger miso, sesame (yaki nasu).

Beef fillet, red chili garlic soy, sesame, spring onion (gyuhire sumibiyaki).

Cedar roasted marou chocolate and hazelnut pudding, miso ice cream (choko no pudyingu).

Black sesame and coconut ice cream (aisukuri-mu no moriawase).
